Loud music can be injurious to your ears

While shooting pictures in sequence, every once in a while, you'll get a series that tells a story. Here's one such triptych...

The Kala Ghoda Festival: Dischordian live performance

With the first act of the day starting late, the Dischordian performance got pushed back closer to lunch time. By the time they were well into their performance, it was time for me to pack up and leave. They did have some interesting music though, wish I could have caught some more... Catch them on Facebook here.

The Kala Ghoda Festival: 'The Other People' live performance

While the brochure said 11:00 am Sunday morning at the Amphitheatre, the sound checks took long and the show got on the road only at around 11:30. But the wait was worth it. The rock and roll band played all the familiar numbers just the way I liked them. It even got the girlfriend's nod of approval who listened in to some songs over the cellphone. Catch them on Facebook here.

2009 was a most eventful and interesting year and I even managed to set up and run my own website, http://ephotography.in/. However, a year later, managing hosting, databases and other updates, a database crash knocked all the posts off the website and so, to keep away from all the trials and tribulations of a self-managed site, I've decided to close down the website and instead kick off http://eltonsphotography.blogspot.com/. Let the photography continue!

The last photo of the year

The moon over CST station
Wrapped up work on the last day of the year and was heading back home when the moon peeked out of the clouds over CST. This one is straight out of the camera, just resized...
